Main area of work concerning early childhood intervention Siauliai University, Faculty of Social Welfare and Disability Studies is the main academic institution in LT initiating and implementing research in the field of ECI, providing study modules in ECI for BA and MA students, providing PhD studies, providing specialised courses for professionals working in ECI, participating in ECI projects (European Agency in Development of Special Needs Education, 2004-2005, 2009-2010; LLL projects EBIFF, PRECIOUS etc.), working as an experts, contributing to development of curriculum in ECI.
Former or present other project activities Siauliai University took part in LLL projects EBIFF and PRECIOUS as well as in European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education project “Early Childhood Intervention”; at present is a partner in the LLL project ECI2.0.
